On the sidelines of the VDA-Mittelstandstag (SME-Day) 2022, Hildegard Mueller, President of the German Car Association (VDA e.V.) meets Tech-Startups with relevant innovations for the Transformation of Mobility.
The German Car Association VDA e.V. has invited different Tech-StartUps all founded and located in Germany. Besides Brain of Materials AG (Mönchengladbach), team-members from vathos (Dusseldorf), Xotigo (Dusseldorf), AUDITTRAILS (Hof / Saale), ROBOLIVE (Erkerode), Wandelbots (Dresden) and Lake Fusion Technologies (Dresden) have been in active part of the conference in Frankfurt on 17./18. of May 2022. All reported about innovative solutions to support SMEs´ strength for their international position. Especially the SMEs are faced from the impacts on the supply chains caused by the Russian military attack against Ukraine and former Covid-Pandemic. The StartUps´innovations focussed process automation, supply-chain-transparency, sales optimization as well as solutions in case of force majeure. All representatives praised the interest and attention shown to them by Hildegard Müller, Arndt Kirchhoff and numerous representatives of the medium-sized automotive suppliers. "This shows how much the automotive industry in Germany is currently grappling with the opportunities of digital transformation!" said HP Schlegelmilch, CEO of Brain of Materials.
